CORBAN Peru

Un gran privilegio estar en una de las iglesias misioneras mas grandes de Puerto Rico con quienes no solo compartimos música sino tambien el trabajo que las misiones siguen haciendo en América Latina. Agradecemos al Ps. Oscar Garcia por la invitación y permitirnos servirles en su servicio dominical y a toda la congregación por su amabilidad y compañerismo. Los llevamos en nuestros corazones.

  El pasado 27 de Junio Corban estuvo participando como banda invitada en el Campamento Riesgo 360, realizado en Barranquitos. Fue una emoción tan grande compartir ese tiempo de música con los jóvenes boricuas de esta preciosa isla y poder servirles. Nicho estuvo dando un taller acerca de la familia, que por cierto estuvo muy bueno y Rich Brown estuvo compartiendo acerca de Incalink que viene sirviendo a los niños en los rellenos sanitarios en Peru y Ecuador.   Agradecemos a Maritza Cumba nuestra gran amiga por el contacto y por hacer posible nuestra visita a su país,  por hacer de nuestra estancia un gran recuerdo y a todo el staff que hicieron de este tiempo una fiesta. No olvidamos a Edwin y Pedro, muchas gracias por conducir la Van y movilizarnos cada día. Bendiciones a todos.

We just finished weekend ministries in Puerto Rico. We had 4 concerts in three days, and made two trips to the beach. We leave tomorrow for Miami and begin the tour in the U.S. The Peruvian band members are doing well. Maritza Cumba has been housing us all together. Gracias Maritza por tu don de hospitalidad, y el privilegio de ser beneficiarios de ese don! We stood in line today for 2 hours early, to try to get on the ferry to Culebra island to swim and things, but the ferry filled up and we went to another beach. Puerto Rico has the best beaches! We have enjoyed getting to know the people here, and seeing that they have a passion for missions. We wish we could have spent another week here, but it is time to go on. Pray that we get all of our luggage back to the States without having to pay. Rumor has it that we will have to pay up to $650 for the luggage. PRAY. Blessings to all, Rich Brown

This is the Open Doors Tour with the Corban band. Corban is a band with Peruvians (José, Percy, Daniel, Daniel and Janet... Aaron is back in Ecuador) and my wife Lisa, from Argentina (and Canada), and the Brown family (Olivia, Michaela, Josiah and Alexa).  Our tour is from June 25th 2009 to December 5th 2009 through Puerto Rico, USA and Canada. We will be in churches all up and down the East Coast of the North America and Puerto Rico. Our purpose is to promote Alliance Missions and encourage Partnerships with Alliance missions. Our desire is to raise awareness and support for missions around the world.  We hope you can enjoy this journey with us. Blessings, Rich
